Family Style – Daddy’s Special Pancakes
Wet Ingredients
1 large Egg
1 ½ Cups Whole Milk
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
2 Tablespoons Buttermilk Powder
Dry Ingredients
1 ½ Cups All-Purpose Flour
3 ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon White Sugar
Finishing Touches
1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
1/4 Cup Peanut Butter Chips
(Mix these together into a bowl)
Optional
Warm Maple Syrup
Fresh Whipping Cream
1. In a mixing bowl, thoroughly mix wet ingredients
2. Sift all dry ingredients into mixing bowl and blend on progressive speeds
3. Batter should be fairly thin, just enough to stick on a spatula
4. Get griddle fairly hot. I like to heat it on Med-Med Hi
5. Test by sprinkling water. It should sizzle
6. Pour 3 small pancakes onto griddle
7. Quickly sprinkle with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips
8. Flip Quickly and often
9. I like pancakes quite lightly cooked (almost slightly uncooked in the center)
10. Serve with Syrup and optional Fresh Whipping Cream
