Your therapist wants you to do an exercise in empathy.  You are to play a Poker Game under two conditions.  1.  You cannot cheat  2.  You must lose

Two spectators help you.  You are frustrated with the first person because they are winning and you cannot cheat, but simultaneously you are happy for their doing what they should

The second person is ensuring you lose so you are pissed at them for making you lose but appreciative at the same time cause they are stopping you from cheating.

Your inner conflict is palatable as you must decide if you will cheat and win the game but lose the exercise or will you win the exercise and lose the game.  In the end, it is just a “Losing Proposition”
