I spent the weekend with Chef and told him about my love hate relationship with Mac and Cheese. Uncle Frank’s Railroad Crunchy Four Cheese Mac and Cheese is it. My search is over. The winter root soup is awesome as well. I know he made all these recipes so if he’s gonna eat I’ll have to try more.

I received this directly from Chef Anton, and was told by others that it was full of fantastic recipes. Bob Sheets told me that it was the best Mac and Cheese he had ever eaten. (Wow was he right) We have tried several of the recipes in the book, the desserts are unbelievable! The instructions are easy to follow and everything I have made has been excellent. One warning you will never be able to eat packaged Mac & Cheese again. I can’t believe your still reading this, add to cart and get cooking. You are going to love this book, highly recommended!!

 

I’m fortunate enough to have eaten a dinner prepared by Chef Anton, which is why I bought the book as soon as it became available. No way was I going to miss out on learning how to make these amazing dishes! Just glad he’s sharing his secrets….

I absolutely love this cookbook. Chef Anton gave us not only a cookbook filled with his secret family recipes, but he also fills it with excerpts from his own life and lots of humor. The pictures and stories make you want to try every recipe in the book. His Italian heritage shows through with recipes like “Grandma’s Sunday Gravy”, which is the best Italian Sauce I have ever had. You can use it in Lasagna, Spaghetti, his Chicken Parmesan or anything that you need tomato sauce. – make a batch and have people rave about how delicious your dishes are. Some of my other favorites are Chef Anton’s Mushroom Risotto and his Flambe Dessert with Caramel Grand Marnier Sauce – I can’t wait to try more recipes because everything I’ve tried so far is absolutely delicious. They are made for “Family Style” cooking and entertaining. Anyone who loves tried and true secret family recipes that everyone begs for the recipe for should definitely order this book!

This cookbook sets the standard for all cookbooks. The recipes are practical and everyone that I have made tastes amazing. The author is witty, entertaining, and is incredibly talented. Through colorful stories, and photos, he give us insight to his journey from the streets of New York to the bright lights of Hollywood. This is more than a cookbook, it is as entertaining as it is useful. I hope all of my meals are “Cooked with Love” and served Family Style.

This is an absolute go to book for the kitchen. The recipes are easy to prepare using the directions and include a picture. Perhaps the most fascinating read as far as talent and mini life story combined with the foods we admittedly all love to eat. Thanks Chef Anton for such a great addition to my library!

Great cookbook. Easy to follow recipes and it covers a lot of different foods. Worth purchasing for beginner or advanced home cooks.

Not being the best in the kitchen I find this book to be easy to work with. Well written and everything I’ve cooked has been terrific. I’m getting more adventurous and trying some of the bigger recipes. My guests think I’ve been cooking for years.
